for over 40 years, is an acute care
hospital located in beautiful South
Lake Tahoe. Since the inception of the hospital in 1963, Barton Memorial
Hospital has been fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Health Care Organizations and the State of California. The hospital,
which is just one component of the Barton Health, consists
of 24-hour emergency care services, 71 patient beds, a Skilled Nursing
Facility with 48 resident beds and many departments to serve the healthcare
needs of our patients, residents, employees, visitors, volunteers and

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is a 48-bed Long-Term Care Facility
located in Barton Memorial Hospital. The home-like atmosphere provides
residents with a safe and secure environment, while maintaining excellent
clinical care. A full range of services and activities are provided
to support our residents’ physical, mental and spiritual needs.
