Barton Health participates in several venues to offer information and educational opportunities for those interested in healthcare careers. Below is a list of some of the activities available:

Technician Assistant Program
This 4-week program is offered each summer and is available to graduating high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Students work with preceptors in 12 clinical departments to obtain exposure to a wide array of career opportunities.
- Phlebotomy Program
This program is offered annually through Lake Tahoe Community College. Instruction is offered by Barton staff. Certification can be obtained by passing a state sponsored exam.

Medical Programs
Laket Tahoe Community College (LTCC) offers many different Medical Assistant courses including: Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Terminology, and many more. Barton provides staff and funding. Check out the LTCC web site for more information or to sign up for classes.
