Kyle Swanson, MD was raised in South Lake Tahoe and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
He has a fascinating background as a military physician in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom IV where he treated US soldiers in general orthopedic care, combat-related injuries and military family care.
He attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and recently completed a Fellowship at the Lake Tahoe Institute of Sports Medicine. The majority of his medical practice is sports medicine-based, however he also treats a significant amount of bone trauma and pediatric trauma.
