The Barton HealthCare System and the El Dorado County Public Health Department are offering Smoking Cessation Classes beginning Monday, Oct. 1 from 6 to 7: 30 p.m. in the Barton Memorial Hospital Mountain Café. The eight session course runs from Oct. 1 through Nov. 12 and is every Monday with one Wednesday class thrown in on Oct. 24. Cost is only $25 and attending the first class is critical.
