Barton Home Health and Hospice has moved its office moved from 1609 U.S. Highway 395 in Minden, Nevada to 1503 Hwy. 395 in Gardnerville, Nevada – near The Record Courier.
“Our office may be in a different location, but our phone number and quality services have remained the same,” Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Barton Home Health and Hospice, Judy Atkinson, R.N., said.
“Home Health helps patients recover at home while they while recuperating from surgery or illness. Our nursing staff helps manage medical issues, while the rehabilitation specialists help get people back to doing their normal every day activities,” Atkinson said. ”Our specially trained Hospice team also is available to provide comfort to both patients and their caregivers, by relieving the often difficult physical and emotional symptoms of those who are terminally ill.”
The Home Health and Hospice team works with each person, their family and physician to determine the best possible treatment.
“Our nurses are on-call 24-hours-a-day,” Atkinson said. “In addition to our outstanding nurses, we are fully staffed with physical and occupational therapists, medical social workers, a Chaplain, Home Health aides and volunteers.”
