Barton clinical staff presented information about healthcare careers to the science classes of South Tahoe Middle School on May 23 and 24. This is the the eighth year Barton has participated in the job shadowing program.
Students who completed job shadowing applications were invited to Barton Memorial Hospital and spent the morning in the Lab, Medical Imaging, Rehabilitation Services and Nursing/Physician Departments.
The 42 students were filled with wonder, excitement and appreciation to Barton staff. Thanks to staff in those departments for welcoming the students and to the escorts who shepherded them through the hospital.
