I had my first experience with Barton's Speech Therapist yesterday for my son. He is having a hard time with solid foods and Dr. Ehmann recommended that he see a speech therapist. Susanne Bull was great! She gave me a call the minute she received a referral... She recommended that we meet at our house (what a great service!) so that we could have all the foods and a familiar environment in which to work. She was on time, personable, professional, fun and friendly. After she left, we continued to try some of her ideas, and were able to get my son to swallow his first bit of food last night. What a great victory!

GENERAL INFORMATION
Speech and Language
Therapy provides services to prevent, identify,
diagnose, and treat patients in the areas of expressive
and receptive language skills, swallowing, and
cognitive functioning. This is part of a continuum
of service, which also includes coordinating care
with other health care services as well as educating
patients and family members for the highest level of
rehabilitation.
