The Resource Center carries pamphlets for patient information in preventing illness and potential medical complications such as protecting your skin from the sun. “33 Things Everyone Should Know About Skin Cancer and “Protecting Your Skin from the Sun” are only two of the hundreds of preventative information pamphlets the Resource Center has available for patients and employees. In addition, the Resource Center carries books on existing conditions for patients to check out and take home so that they can make informed decisions when it comes to their health.

We are located between U-Haul and Ponderosa Glass on Emerald Bay Road behind Nik ‘n’ Willie’s Pizza.

Through years of discussions, planning and hard work from members of the Hospital and its Foundation, the dream for a Health Resource Center became a reality in the summer of 2001.

The purpose of the Barton University Resource Center is to offer a wide variety of free health information services. The center provides resource tools to help patients, employees, visitors, medical staff and the community make informed decisions about health care issues and concerns.
