at the South Lake Tahoe location.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Speech and Language Therapy provides services to prevent, identify, diagnose, and treat patients in the areas of expressive and receptive language skills, swallowing, and cognitive functioning. This is part of a continuum of service, which also includes coordinating care with other healthcare services as well as educating patients and family members for the highest level of rehabilitation.
