Services and Screenings provided include:

  • Skin Cancer Screening ~ Conducted by Barton's Community Clinic Staff (who've been trained by Dr. Martin Salm's Dermatology office staff) - A visual screening that checks for moles, sunspots and any other potentially precancerous skin spots.

  • Varicose Vein and Spider Vein Screening ~ Performed by Dr. Michael Nussdorfer - Barton's Medical Imaging department now offers various options to permanently treat varicose and spider veins. Dr. Nussdorfer will examine patients legs and give his professional, medical opinion as to whether these new treatments will work and if so, which ones. Varicose Vein treatment is often covered by medical insurance as they can be quite painful and treatment can become a medical necessity. Treatment of spider veins is not covered by insurance, as it is considered cosmetic. However, many women and men opt for the easy spider vein treatment since it allows them to wear skirts and shorts without the embarrassment of the aging look that spider veins dontribute.

  • Body Composition Analysis ~ Performed by Barton Occupational Medicine's trained nurses - The results of a Body Composition screening gives a patient such information as their weight, Bady Mass Index (B.M.I.), Percentage of body fat and recommendations as to desired weight loss or gain. All calculations are based on gender, age and height. These indicators are valuable information for anyone wanting to improve their long-term health and fitness levels.

  • Orthopedic Screening ~ Performed by Dr. Steve Bannar - More information will be provided as the date draws closer.

  • Physical Therapy Screening ~ Performed by Barton's Physical Therapy department staff - More information will be provided as the date draws closer.
