The Barton Health Rehabilitation Services offers the only comprehensive Certified Hand Rehabilitation Program in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Barton Health is fortunate to have our own Certified Hand Therapists. The Hand Program plays a key role in the proper return of hand function following hand surgery or hand injury. Hand Therapy is an integration of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy combining a comprehensive knowledge of the upper extremity, body function and activity.

- Cumulative trauma disorders: carpal tunnel, DeQuervains, and tendonitis
- Fractures of the hand and upper extremity
- Tendon repairs, transfers, and grafts
- Crush and degloving injuries

- PNS and CNS disorders – affecting upper extremity function

- Reduce pain, edema, and scarring
- Improve strength, motion, and function
