Mini whole grain pizza (Recipe serves two):
- 2 Whole grain English muffin halves
- 4 tablespoons pizza or tomato sauce
- ½ cup grated mozzarella or low fat cheddar cheese
- Pinch Italian seasonings
Split English muffin in half. Top each half with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Top with cheese and Italian seasoning. Place on baking pan and place in broiler for about 6 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. Cool before eating.
Banana yogurt shake (Recipe serves two):
- ¾ cup fat free milk
- 2 small bananas
- ½ cup low fat plain yogurt
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- ½ cup ice cubes
Combine all ingredients except ice cubes in blender or food processer; blend until thick and creamy. With motor running, add ice cubes; blend until smooth. Pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
