Becker's Hospital Review Names Dr. Clint Purvance as one of 110 Physician Leaders

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA — Becker's Hospital Review has released the 2016 edition of its list of 110 Physician Leaders of Hospitals and Health Systems and Dr. Clint Purvance, CEO and President of Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, has made the list.

Dr. Purvance became the CEO and President in November 2015 after serving as Barton Health’s Chief Medical Officer for eight years. Becker’s list features practicing physicians as well as presidents and CEOs of hospitals and health systems who also hold medical degrees.

“All recipients have demonstrated outstanding leadership and clinical expertise throughout their careers, leading initiatives to improve their individual organizations and the healthcare of the communities they serve,” stated Becker’s Hospital Review in a press release.

Becker's Hospital Review has published versions of this list since 2010. A full list of all 110 leaders, in alphabetical order, can be reviewed online at http://bit.ly/2bjIR45.

The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on editorial judgment and discretion, and nominations were considered when making selections for this list. Individuals did not and cannot pay to be included on the list.
