The Tahoe Knight Monsters have named Barton Health as their Official Medical Provider.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters are playing their inaugural season in Lake Tahoe.
A team of Barton Health professionals, led by medical director and orthopedic specialist Dr. Daniel Robertson, are caring for the hockey players throughout the season, providing everything from routine medical care to injury treatment and rehabilitation to performance coaching.
The Tahoe Knight Monsters team is the 29th member of the ECHL, a minor professional hockey league. The multiyear partnership with Barton Health ensures that the players have the medical support and performance plans they need for optimal seasons.

Barton Performance and Tahoe Knight Monsters
Throughout the season, Barton Performance will customize programs for the players to help their performance on the ice.
- Fitness/sport preparation: strength and cardio
- Nutrition exploration: personalized and goal-specific nutritional guidance
- Injury prevention: balance, flexibility, and mobility
- Recovery: compression devices, cold therapy, and myofascial release
- Mental performance: sports psychology, goal setting, and self-talk
