"I chose Lake Tahoe because it’s a great sports medicine fellowship first and foremost, but I also liked that it brings in some joints and trauma — that mix lines up really well with what I want my practice to look like back in Texas. The staff here were another big reason; they seemed down-to-earth and really invested in teaching. And honestly, the chance to spend a year in such a beautiful place was a big draw too — Tahoe’s outdoors, skiing, and overall lifestyle make it a really fun place for me and my family to train and live before heading back home."
