Paul Ryan, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Paul Ryan is a board-certified orthopedic physician specializing in comprehensive foot & ankle surgical care, including ankle replacement, arthritis care, deformity correction, and trauma.

Dr. Ryan is past president of the Hawaii Orthopedic Association. He currently serves as the Chair of the Foot & Ankle Program Committee for the American Association of Orthopedic surgeons and serves on the Public Education Committee for the American Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Society.

Dr. Ryan remains active in academics as an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery with the University of Nevada Reno and has over forty publications in peer reviewed literature. Prior to coming to the Lake Tahoe area from Hawaii, Dr. Ryan served in the United States Army with five deployments to Afghanistan. He is an avid runner, cyclist, and triathlete.
