Your Health Is Essential

The safety of our patients and staff continue to be our top priority and our offices have implemented safety precautions including:

  • requiring face masks per California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines
  • limiting visitation at office appointments and within Barton Memorial Hospital
  • screening patients and visitors
  • updated common areas for social distancing
  • heightened disinfecting practices
  • limiting some appointments to virtual visits

Barton Memorial Hospital is accessible through the Main Entrance from Monday-Saturday 5:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Patients and visitors will be screened for symptoms of respiratory illness prior to entry. All visitors are required to wear a face mask. After hours and Sunday access is via the Emergency Department entrance, located at the rear of the hospital.

Your loved one's safety is our priority. Due to COVID-19, visitation for non-COVID-19 patients within Barton Memorial Hospital is limited:

  • Adult patients may have two visitors from the same household at a time, not to exceed more than three total designated visitors.
  • Pediatric patients may have up to two adults present at the same time.
  • Within the Family Birthing Center, each patient may have two support persons and a doula.
  • Patients facing end-of-life may have two visitors at a time, up to three designated visitors. Additional visitors may be approved by the care provider. 
  • Any visitors for COVID-19 patients must be approved by the attending physician.
  • Please contact the Skilled Nursing Facility for their visitation policy. 
  • For patients who are not allowed visitors, staff will offer other means of communicating with family and loved ones including video conferencing and telephone calls.
