Mini whole grain pizza (Recipe serves two):

Ingredients:
  • 2 Whole grain English muffin halves
  • 4 tablespoons pizza or tomato sauce
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella or low fat cheddar cheese
  • Pinch Italian seasonings
Directions: Split English muffin in half. Top each half with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce. Top with cheese and Italian seasoning. Place on baking pan and place in broiler for about 6 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. Cool before eating.

Banana yogurt shake (Recipe serves two):

Ingredients:
  • ¾ cup fat free milk
  • 2 small bananas
  • ½ cup low fat plain yogurt
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • ½ cup ice cubes
Directions: Combine all ingredients except ice cubes in blender or food processer; blend until thick and creamy. With motor running, add ice cubes; blend until smooth. Pour into tall glasses and enjoy!
