Barton Health Hosts Mass Vaccination Clinic April 30

(South Lake Tahoe, CA) – Barton Health, in partnership with the state of California and Vail Resorts, will host a vaccination clinic on Friday, April 30 at Heavenly Ski Resort’s California Base Lodge. Appointments and priority are determined through MyTurn, the state of California’s universal vaccine sign-up portal. This clinic location and associated appointment options will be available in the portal early next week. Barton Health will announce on BartonHealth.org and its social media channels once those are available for booking through MyTurn. Barton Health is proud to take part in the ongoing effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Barton will administer approximately 2,000 first-dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines to patients at the drive-up clinic. Patients with an appointment through California’s MyTurn system will be administered a vaccine at this clinic. The MyTurn system will allow California residents ages 16 and older within a specified radius to register. Barton cannot schedule appointments directly; patients do not need to be part of Barton’s system.

Appointments will be available early next week. Those interested in receiving the vaccine at this clinic should visit myturn.ca.gov or call (833) 422-4255 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis until all doses are allocated.

The COVID-19 vaccination is proven safe and effective. Information about the safety and efficacy of the vaccination is available at BartonHealth.org. Contact your primary care provider to discuss personal health concerns regarding the vaccination.

* Vaccine appointments are available for booking through MyTurn, as of Monday, April 26. *
